India Post, also known as the Department of Posts (DOP), Government of India, is all set to recruit eligible candidates for various position under the sports quota. The recruitment drive offers opportunities for positions such as Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Postman, Mail Guard, and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). For Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant:

For Postman / Mail Guard:

• 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.
• Proficiency in the local language of the relevant Postal Circle or Division as one of the subjects in 10th standard or above.
• Proficiency in computer operations.
• Valid license to drive a two-wheeler or Light Motor Vehicle (applicable to the Postman post only). Persons with Benchmark Disability are exempted from the possession of a license.

For Multi-Tasking Staff:

10th standard pass from a recognized Board

Sports Qualification

Candidates must meet one of the following sports qualifications:

A nominal application fee of Rs. 100/- is applicable.

Selection Process:

• Candidates will be selected based on a merit list prepared by India Post, considering the information provided in the online application portal.
