OPSC Assistant Professors Recruitment 2024:
Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has given a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professors (Stage-I) in different disciplines in Group-A of Odisha Education Service (College Branch) of Government Degree Colleges under the Department of Higher Education.
The link for online application and submission shall be available from 12th March 2024 to 16 April 2024 is the last date for submission of registered online application for recruitment to 385 Assistant Professors.

OPSC Assistant Professors Recruitment 2024: Education details
Candidates should have the following minimum Educational Qualification required for the OPSC Assistant Professors Recruitment 2024
- Candidates must Possess a Master’s Degree, with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade, in the concerned / relevant / allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University. Provided that for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caster (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Socially and Educational Backward Classes (SEBC) & Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, the recruitment of securing at least 55% marks shall be reduced to 50% marks or its equivalent grade.
- Must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) meant for appointment of Assistant Professor (Stage-I) or must have acquired a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / relevant / allied subject from an Indian University or a Foreign University.
OPSC Assistant Professors Recruitment 2024: Age Limit
- Minimum Age of the Candidate: 21 Years
- Maximum Age of the Candidate: 45 Years
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than 17/04/1979 & not later than 16/04/2003.
