The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has given a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) (Undergraduate) Post Vacancies in different Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). A total of 3445 vacancies have been announced for various Undergraduate Level positions under the NTPC category. The application process starting from September 21, 2024, to October 20, 2024.

RRB NTPC (UG) Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification:

To be eligible for the NTPC posts, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Commercial cum Ticket clerk: 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Person with Benchmark Disability / Ex-Servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage).
• Accounts Clerk cum Typist: 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Person with Benchmark Disability / Ex-Servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage). Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on Computer is essential.
• Junior Clerk cum Typist: 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Person with Benchmark Disability / Ex-Servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage). Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on Computer is essential.
• Trains Clerk: 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Person with Benchmark Disability / Ex-Servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage).

RRB NTPC (UG) Recruitment 2024 Age Limit:

• Minimum Age of the Candidates: 18 Years
• Maximum Age of the Candidates: 33 Years

RRB NTPC (UG) Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

• The merit list of those candidates who have applied will be prepared State wise in descending order based on marks/percentage obtained in 12th Std (HSC/10+2)/ Diploma Examination. In case more than one candidate is having the same percentage, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit.
• Merit list will be prepared based only on the information submitted by the candidate during online application. In case of any discrepancy observed at the time of Document Verification, the application will be disqualified summarily.
• Document collection and test of local language will be conducted during Document Verification process.

RRB NTPC (UG) Recruitment 2024 Application Fee:

• For Unreserved Candidates: Rs. 500/-
• For SC / ST / PWDs / Ex-Serviceman / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Class (The fee for these categories shall be refunded after deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in First Stage CBT): Rs. 250/-
