UCIL Recruitment 2023: Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) invites online applications for trade apprenticeship training under The Apprentices Act-1961. A total number of 243 vacancies has been released for the training of apprentice candidates.

Vacancy details of UCIL Recruitment 2023

• Vacies for Sc/St, EWS & OBC (NCL) candidates are reserved in accordance with Apprentices Act-1961
• For Physically Handicapped % of vacancies for Apprenticeship training are reserved in accordance with Apprenticeship Rule.

Eligibility Criteria for UCIL

• Qualification: matric/Std. X pass and ITI pass in relevant Trade from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training).
• Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as of 13/10/2023. Relaxation in upper age limits to Sc, ST, OBC (NCL) PwBD & other applicable categories shall be as per Government of India Rules.
• Previous Training: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 in any Govt/Public Sector/Private Industrial organization are Not Eligible to apply for the current enrollment.

Payment of Stipend of UCIL Recruitment

• The minimum rate of stipend per month payable to apprentices shall be followed as per the Apprenticeship Rule.

Selection Procedure of UCIL Recruitment

• The selection procedure of the candidates will be on a merit basis i.e. on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in ITI.
• No TA/DA or accommodation shall be given to the candidate called for verification of certificates or coming to the place of training,
• After selection, UCIL can place the candidate for training at any of its Units.
• First preference shall be given to candidates belonging to the Land Displaced Category, Second preference shall be given to local candidates within 5 km radius for project project-affected families of Jharkhand. Third preference will be given to employed wards relevant documents shall be verified at the time of joining.
• Candidates holding ITI mark sheets/certificates can only apply. Those candidates awaiting their mark sheet/certificates are NOT eligible to apply for the above apprentice training.
• The result will be published on UCIL website www.uraniumcorp.in. 

How to apply for UCIL Recruitment 2023

1. For registration visit Govt. portal website https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/

2. Candidate Registration:- Candidates must click on the Registration Tab to register themselves for Apprenticeship Training. After registration, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the registered e-mail address of the candidate. The candidate has to click on the link provided in the e-mail for activation and thereafter the candidate has to log in and complete his profile for confirmation of registration. 

What document is to be uploaded on the UCIL portal?

• Matriculation Mark Sheet and Final ITI Mark sheet
• Caste Certificate (for Sc/St/OBC (NCL) only
• Certificate applicable for EWS candidates.
• Medical certificate applicable for physically handicapped only
• Photo and signature
• Aadhaar Card & Pan Card
• Aadhaar card linked to the bank account
• Land Acquisition Certificate for Land Displaced person/Adhaar card for project affected family and ICIL ID card of employee for Employee son
